Robbie Farah becomes the first Balmain junior player to reach the 300 game milestone.
The Balmain District Junior Rugby League would like to congratulate Robbie Farah on becoming the 39th player all time and first Balmain Junior ever to play 300 first grade games.
A product of the Enfield Federals & Leichhardt Wanderers clubs, Farah made his NRL debut in 2003 at his beloved Leichhardt Oval, just 12 months after featuring in the Balmain Tigers 2002 SG Ball squad.
Across a 17 season career, Farah has played 16 Origin games for NSW, including two as captain, 8 Tests for Australia and 7 Tests for Lebanon. He was also a part of the Kangaroos 2017 World Cup winning squad. This is in addition to a premiership in 2005, two Dally M Hooker of the Year awards (2007 & 2010) and a Brad Fittler Medal in 2012.
He spent eight seasons as captain of Wests Tigers, including two finals appearances in 2010 and 2011, and is Wests Tigers all time appearances holder with 273*.
Congratulations Robbie – we’re immensely proud to call you #blackngold!
